Fearless MLB Predictions
Well boys and girls (the latter being wishful thinking), baseball season is upon us and to be honest, I am not very excited. I almost always find the beginning of certain sporting seasons to be a fun and exciting excluding the WNBA, why is that league still around? Anyway to get back on point, we are two games into the Astros' season and they have scored a whopping one run and have no wins. I have a feeling this is just a precursor to the rest of the season. With only one and half pitchers, it's going to be hard to win games. They will score some runs but not enough. So with that being said here are some fearless and bold predictions...
We will start with the National league and how they will finish:
NL Central
Chicago Cubs
Milwaukee Brewers
Cincinnati Reds
Houston Astros
Pittsburgh Pirates
St. Louis Cardinals
NL East
New York Mets
Atlanta Braves (Wild Card)
Philadelphia Phillies
Florida Marlins
Washington Nationals
NL West
Arizona Diamondbacks
Colorado Rockies
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Diego Padres
San Francisco Giants
Moving on to the over-priced half of the MLB, the American league:
AL Central
Cleveland Indians
Detroit Tigers
Chicago White Sox
Kansas City Royals
Minnesota Twins
AL East
New York Yankees
Boston Red Sox
Toronto Blue Jays
Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Baltimore Orioles
AL West
Los Angeles of Whatever Angels
Seattle Mariners
Texas Rangers
Oakland A's
World Series
New York Yankees over Chicago Cubs
NL MVP
David Wright
AL MVP
Alex Rodriguez
NL Cy Young
Johan Santana
AL Cy Young
Erik Bedard
So let us hear from you. Agree, disagree or don't care - we would love to hear from you guys.

Thank you for putting the Cards at the bottom of the Central, their name alone has given them enough credit with just about every sports outlet to give then 5th.
Some ballsy picks in there: Angles over the Mariners without their 1-2? Even with Bedard and Felix on the M's? Similar to picking the Mets in the NL East even though they can't keep anyone heathly.
Some not so good picks: The Nat's will finish way higher than the Marlins and I'm going out on a limb and saying that Rays over the Blue Jays in the East.
I like the Indians over the Tigers, as nonsensical as it seems, I guess I just hope something blows up for them because they seem like the MLB's Celtics.
I love the Yanks over the Bo Sox, Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy, and Joba (when they start him) are going to be the balls.
Finally: Thank you for making the Cubs lose in the World Series, though it's be better if they lost the NLCS and just kept the drought going another century.
The thought of your world series prediction happening made me throw up in my mouth a little. They would have to televise the series on premium cable since MLB and the media would be getting their jolly's off on the over hyped story lines.
For what it's worth, i hate the braves, but i like them to win the NL. Im jumping on the Tiger wagon to win the AL and the series.
TTU Jerk, true story to JP's World Series prediciton, but the Braves WILL not win the NL. I don't understand why everyone is down on the Phillies? They made it last year with no pitching and they got Myer's back in that rotation.
It'll be the D-backs to get out of the NL, unless the Cubs somehow pull the trigger on the Roberts deal, then they're pretty dominant (but they're screwed after they give up their prospects for him though).
TTU jerk I am by no means a cubs or yankees fan, I am just calling it as i see it. I would love nothing more for the yankees and their 200 million dollar payroll to not even make the playoffs. As for the cubs, being an Astros fan it's tough to say this but they are going to be good, possibly crazy good.
Evan do you really think philly is going to our gun the mets? I just don't see it happening
